First, let me please THANK YOU for visiting! Each and every visitor to our website brings us one step closer to fulfilling a dream.

My name is Krista, and I'm the owner and founder of Aspen and James Company. Assisted by my husband Luke and our daughter, Lilianna, who happens to be my top model! I give all credit for any success, as well as all the Glory, to Jesus Christ who is the strength behind all that I do. If you would have told me a few years ago that I'd be opening a business in 2022, I would have hands-down guaranteed it would be a dog rescue. But they say having children changes everything, and here we are!

When I learned I was pregnant, I laid in bed each and every night scrolling through different shops and filling up shopping carts at every baby boutique website I could find. (I LOVE to shop - who knew I'd love buying baby clothes even more than my own?) I didn't know what I needed or even wanted, but the baby closet and drawers began to fill. 

I quickly learned that quality is NOT guaranteed regardless of cost, and I was never certain of the integrity of the items I was getting with many shops.  YES, style is important - the neutral colors, dainty prints, and classy designs are a must.  But more importantly, the quality of what I put on my baby matters.  Not only are harsh chemicals and toxins common in baby clothes (I know, right?) but there are also items that just don't functionally fit a wiggly infant or toddler on the move. 

I made it my goal to bridge the many gaps mentioned above - gorgeous clothing with integrity when it comes to quality, fabric, design and real-life wearability for our littles.  Each brand sold at Aspen and James has been carefully selected to provide what I consider to be superior products for our littles.
